Terms and Conditions

By working out with ElectroFit Studio, our clients agree to the following terms and conditions:

Clients engaging ElectroFit Studio for personal training services to be provided by ElectroFit Studio’s Trainer(s).

ElectroFit Studio will create an exercise program geared to our client’s fitness level and experience in order to meet the client’s objectives.

A trainer will be assigned to each client by ElectroFit Studio and is subject to change at any time. Clients may request a new Trainer and ElectroFit Studio will make every effort to accommodate if circumstances allow.

Clients agree to inform ElectroFit Studio and Trainer of any and all conditions, medical or otherwise, that may affect his/her ability to participate in training sessions.

Training Sessions

Training Sessions may include but are not limited to, the following activities: testing of physical fitness; exercise; aerobics and aerobic conditioning; cardiovascular training; weight training; and stretching.  ElectroFit Studio uses Electro Muscle Stimulation (EMS) to activate muscles.  The intensity is based on the client’s comfort level and it is up to the client to inform the trainer if the intensity is too high or too low.  It is also the client’s responsibility to inform the trainer if any of the exercises or movements cause discomfort or are too strenuous. 

Training Package and Payments

Payment for service can be made via credit/debit card.  Clients prepaying their monthly subscriptions:

One month of prepaid sessions must be used within 45 days of the purchase date.

Three months of prepaid sessions must be used within 120 days of the package purchase date.

Six months of prepaid sessions must be used within 210 days of the package purchase date.

Note: It is not recommended to train more than two times per week, therefore ElectroFit Studio and its trainers will not be able to honor a training at an interval of less than every two days.

ElectroFit Studio shall not be obligated to return the payment collected for any unused training sessions to the client. 

Cancellation of Training Session

The client shall provide twelve (12) hour notice of any necessary cancellation of a scheduled Training Session. Failure to provide twelve (12) hour notice may result in the client being charged the full rate for the canceled/missed Training Session. ElectroFit Studio and its trainers will endeavor to also provide our clients twelve (12) hour notice of any scheduled Training Session that may need to be canceled; however, there may be instances where this is not practicable.  Trainers may also contact the client within 24 hours of the training to confirm the session.


Memberships may be canceled at any time for any reason.  Such cancellation may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 4 sessions or less at the package price, depending on the length of the package. In certain situations, such as those outlined below, prepaid packages that are canceled before their term may be refunded for the full cost of all remaining sessions in their package, minus a cancellation fee of up to 4 sessions. Exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis and during life-changing events such as:

  1. Major changes in health such as illness, pregnancy, etc. that prevent the client from further training using WB-EMS.
  2. Client relocates and is unable to travel to ElectroFit Studio (distance of 25 miles or more from the nearest ElectroFit Studio).
  3. Enlistment in the military and deployment.

Clients have the option to freeze their membership for a term of up to 1 year in the event of a medical emergency that takes time to return the client to full health such as broken bones, surgeries, pregnancy, etc.  Military enlistment can also be a reason to freeze membership. Other situations may be eligible for a membership freeze, reviewed on a case by case basis. Cancellation of this membership can be done in person, in writing, or via e-mail provided that the cancelation comes from an email address on file with ElectroFit Studio.


While ElectroFit Studio and its Trainer(s) fully believe exercise, specifically exercise personalized to our clients, is beneficial to their health and wellness, ElectroFit Studio and its Trainer(s) cannot guarantee the results of Training Sessions. ElectroFit Studio and its Trainer’s make no representations and/or warranties that our clients will lose weight, gain muscle mass, be able to engage in any specific physical and/or athletic activity, or will attain any other particular and/or specific results. ElectroFit Studio and its Trainer(s) strongly encourage our clients to follow a healthy diet in conjunction with personal training and continued exercise.

Disqualifying Medical Conditions

Certain medical conditions prevent you from working out with Whole Body Electrical Muscle Stimulation. These include but are not limited to the following:

  • Implanted or external medical device (e.g. cardia pacemaker, implanted defibrillator).
  • Severe cardiovascular diseases (e.g. severe heart or aortic disease).
  • Severe neurological disorder.
  • Medication-controlled or medication-uncontrolled seizures or convulsions (e.g. epilepsy).
  • Severe neuromuscular disorder (e.g. rhabdomyolysis or any disorder that affects the nervous system and the muscles and causes rapid breakdown in muscle structure).
  • Cancerous lesions (e.g. breast cancer).
  • Severe nephrological disease.
  • Existence or a tendency of internal bleeding.
  • Non-intact skin (e.g. infected, wounded or any non-healthy inflamed, irritated or edematous skin area).
  • Pregnancy or suspected pregnancy.
